aBSTRACT sUBMISSIONS


Call for papers 2025:

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers (up to 6 A4 pages for each paper) for consideration at the ICMR2025. The conference is co-organized by COMEH (UK) and the China Society for Technology of Plasticity, CMES, as well as with collaboration with NIMS, MarRI-UK, Journal of Manufacturing Review, EDP Sciences, and the EU FAST-SMART project consortium, aims to bring together experts and researchers in the field of Advanced Manufacturing Research to share the research experiences and discuss the future manufacturing research needs.

Papers should adhere to the formatting rules outlined below. Submitted papers will undergo a blind review by the Scientific Committee, with assistance from the COMEH Advisory Committee. Authors whose papers are accepted must present their contributions at the conference, and the proceedings will be published by EDP Sciences in the 'MATEC Web of Conferences'. Additionally, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the journal Manufacturing Review for a special topic issue on 'Advanced Manufacturing - Latest Developments.'.

A Microsoft Word template file is provided. Please download it here. It is suggested that each submission contains no more than 6 pages, in Microsoft Word format.

Title and Language

Manuscripts should be composed in English, featuring a comprehensive title positioned at the article's outset. The title should precisely reflect the paper's content, embodying specificity, descriptiveness, brevity, and accessibility to readers beyond the immediate subject matter.

Abstract

The abstract should outline the primary objective(s) of the research, offering informative insights, and summarizing the principal findings and conclusions.

Introduction

The introduction should provide a contextual background, enabling readers unacquainted with the field to comprehend the study's purpose and significance. It ought to establish the addressed problem, elucidate its critical relevance, and set the stage for the ensuing discourse.

Figure and Table

Authors incorporating a figure or table from an existing publication must clearly denote the source of the material. Furthermore, authors are obligated to seek explicit permission for reproduction from the original author(s) and publisher if applicable. Each figure and table must be referenced in the text and accompanied by an informative caption.

References

Authors are advised to meticulously validate the accuracy of their cited sources. All references should be diligently catalogued at the end of the manuscript.

The content/main research included in the submission should not have been previously published or accepted for publication. Additionally, it should not be concurrently submitted to other conferences, archival, or publication platforms.
