What is the AIM RSF?
The AI for Multiple Long-term Conditions Research Support Facility (AIM RSF) is based at the Alan Turing Institute, in partnership with Swansea University and the University of Edinburgh. The RSF offers AI and advanced data science expertise and support to the seven AIM research consortia, as part of a broader £23M investment in multiple long-term conditions research (the AIM Programme).
The facility, led by Dr Kirstie Whitaker and Professor Chris Holmes, aims to embed best practices in data security and standards, reproducibility, and public and patient engagement across the research collaborations funded by the programme, to ensure effective knowledge sharing and reinforcing the Turing’s role as a national convenor and capacity builder in data science and artificial intelligence.
