Thank you for coming to the first national analytics conference for health and care.

For the first time ever we brought together the best in health and care analytics from across the UK public sector together, to share, learn, inspire and shape the future! We’re very proud of this conference and we’re delighted that so many of you came, whether in person or online and were part of this landmark event.  We look forward to seeing you next year at HACA2024!

Thank you to everyone who came - HACA2023 was a huge success!

"It was magnificent!" Professor Ben Goldacre, Conference Co-Chair

‘Many congratulations to you all on a great conference – one of the best I have been to for a long time in terms of relevance and stimulation so please pass that on and you can quote me if you like!’  Professor Kiran Patel, Medical Director, University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire

We had:

·         Over 170 abstracts

·         5 streams + 9 side rooms

·         Over 100 sessions / poster displays

·         Over 400 registrations in person (sold out by May!)

·         Over 1,000 registrations online

Key themes included Health Inequalities, Business Intelligence, Population Health Management, data linkage, Reproducible Analytical Pipelines, primary, acute and social care and many more!

The Health and Care Analytics Conference 2023 brought together the best analysts working in health and care in one place to celebrate, learn and be inspired. With a packed programme of expert speakers, workshops and poster presentations, we turned analysts into influencers – leading the conversation and driving change in health and care.

We welcomed a huge range of analysts from primary care, providers, ICBs, CSUs, NHSE, OHID, UKHSA, local government (including those in public health and social care), and the voluntary sector.

Brought to you by the four NHS Commissioning Support Units, designed and lead  by The Strategy Unit with Professor Ben Goldacre and Peter Spilsbury as co-chairs, this conference offered the best of analytics, without a commercial agenda.

Recordings for many of the sessions will be available soon!
