Submitting your abstract

To submit your abstract, please email your submission to academic.conferences@contacts.bham.ac.uk

There is a template below which you can download to structure your abstract. Please save the completed submission as a PDF with a title of: NAME: Abstract Title.

Please email your submission to the above email address, please include the event title in the subject i.e NWTF 2023.

Guidelines and Templates

We invite authors to present their NWTF-related work, reporting research undertaken at a National Wind Tunnel Facility. Presentations should provide a ‘broad brushstroke’ overview of the work, the impact of the research and potential industrial use. Acceptance is through an abstract which may include figures and graphs but should not exceed 2 pages. Abstracts should contain sufficient information on the problem definition, the scientific approach and results.  

If successful, you will be asked to submit a PowerPoint presentation that reflects the experience of using NWTF facilities (presentation time 10-12 minutes).

Abstracts and PowerPoint slides will be published on the NWTF website.
