Biography
Lindsay Baker completed her PhD at the University of Toronto in single particle cryoEM, before taking up a Human Frontier Science Program Long-term Fellowship to combine solid-state NMR with the Baldus lab at Universiteit Utrecht and electron cryotomography (cryoET) with the Grünewald lab at the University of Oxford. Lindsay started her research group at the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery in Oxford, and in 2023 was appointed Associated Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford. Her research group focuses on cellular responses to the environment, in particular via membranes, and develops new tools for linking other experimental information with cryoET.
