Józef Lewandowski is a professor of physical chemistry at the University of Warwick. Józef did his PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2008) with Prof. R.G. Griffin followed by a Marie Curie fellowship with Prof. Lyndon Emsley at the Very High Field NMR Center in Lyon/ENS de Lyon. Józef's research involves development of solid-state NMR methods, especially in the context of large systems and protein dynamics, and applications of solution-, solid-state NMR and molecular dynamics simulations in complex biological systems, especially in the context of natural products biosynthesis. Józef's work has been recognised by several awards, e.g. 2015 Abragham Prize from ISMAR and 2016 Marlow Award from the RSC.
