Above the scientific program of key opinion leaders selected for their expertise in drug development, drug delivery, devices, data and artificial intelligence; prizes awarded for clinical and scientific advances in the poster section; and great networking events planned to include all delegates from across the eye sector.

Ophthalmologists of all grades, Optometrists, researchers in eye care and allied health professionals.  

Who is supporting the event?
A number of eye care sponsors and eye related charities will be on hand to discuss their roles across the sector.

What are the IBSA World Games?
For the first time ever in the UK, from the 18-27 August 2023, Birmingham will host the IBSA World Games for blind and partially sighted athletes (https://www.ibsagames2023.co.uk). This international multi-sport event will welcome over 1800 athletes from 70 countries who will compete in 11 sports across 7 Birmingham venues. With the University of Birmingham being one of four Games Delivery partners (British Blind Sport, Birmingham City Council and MLS) hosting five sports and the Games Athletes Village, this in person two-day academic conference also aims to celebrate and promote the IBSA 2023 World Games.
