The
European Head and Neck course has become a key educational cornerstone in the
education of healthcare professionals interested in head and neck cancer.
The course is suitable for trainees (residents and fellows) in ENT, maxillofacial, plastics and oncology in preparation for exams, as well as providing a stimulating update for practising surgeons and physicians.
The three days will cover the current management of head and neck
cancers within a multidisciplinary framework. The format will consist of a series
of keynote addresses dealing with some of the more controversial topics, in
addition to lectures, panel discussions and operative techniques. Importantly,
time is always allocated for audience participation through question and answer
sessions, allowing a real engagement of delegates with the experienced faculty.
As part of the organisation of this conference, The University of Birmingham is collecting income via registration fees and sponsorships on behalf of the Mechanistic Basis of Foraging organising committee.
