Virtual Registration for CIKM2023 includes:

• Streaming of all conference activities taking place in the main plenary room, including all keynotes, and research/applied papers session scheduled in that room;
• Access to a “request” service that will allow all conference attendees (both online and in-person) to select  research/applied papers from any of the three main conference days that they would like to attend as “encore presentations” by zoom at mutually agreed times in the weeks following the conference.*
• Online registration does not include access to the two initial workshop/tutorial days, poster sessions, research/applied papers session not in the plenary room, or any social activities.

* These requests will be collected via a web form through the conference. At the end of the conference they will be collated according to the papers requested. Email introductions will then be generated to connect the set of requesters of each paper with its presenting author, in the expectation that that group of people will then collectively negotiate a suitable time after the end of the conference for an encore presentation of the paper to be made using zoom or other service. In the case of papers with many requests from multiple continents it may be appropriate for two presentations to be scheduled, so as to cater for all timezones. All presenting authors will be asked to cooperate with these requests when they receive the introduction email.

Cancellations and Refunds

General conference attendees: During the early bird registration period, registration will be eligible for a 100% refund; during the standard registration period, registrations will be eligible for a 50% refund up until 1^st October. After 1^st October, no refund will be possible. Refunds will be issued back to your credit card. In case of cancellations please contact academic.conferences@contacts.bham.ac.uk.

E-mail Opt-In: ACM does not sell, rent, or exchange email addresses of its members, conference attendees, etc. Conference attendees have the option of receiving announcements about new, improved and updated products and services available through ACM.
