Rehabilitation of Postural Control and Functional Movement in the Neurologically Impaired Patient

A series of three Introductory Bobath Modules (BBTA) on Rehabilitation of Postural Control and Functional Movement in the Neurologically Impaired Patient hosted by the University of Birmingham. The BBTA modules are designed to introduce course participants to the assessment and treatment of adults with neurological dysfunction. The modules consist of theoretical and practical sessions and patient demonstrations. 

The course will span over the course of 3 modules:

  • Module I - Human Movement Analysis as a Basis of Clinical Intervention (9 - 10 January 2026) 
  • Module II - Postural Control and the Recovery of Locomotion (17 - 18 April 2026) 
  • Module III - Postural Control and Recovery of Upper Limb Function (17 - 18 July 2026) 

Registration for the modules will be restricted to applicants wishing to complete all three modules.  We will open registration for standalone modules in mid-October. 

Participants will require practical clothing i.e. typically shorts, T-shirts/sleeveless tops for the practical components of the course.
