Welcome to the 39th Annual Meeting of the European Section of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR), which will be held from Monday 22 - Thursday 25 June 2026. The meeting will take place on the beautiful University of Birmingham campus, located in leafy Edgbaston, a historic suburb of Birmingham, a city renowned for its key role in the Industrial Revolution.

The meeting promises to be an exceptional scientific event for our community, taking place at a time of remarkable advancements in cardiovascular research. The Organising Committee will be crafting an exciting and dynamic programme, with topics ranging from novel molecular insights into cardiovascular disease to advances in cardiac regeneration, imaging techniques, and therapeutic innovations. We are excited to present four days of cutting-edge science and stimulating discussions, complemented by a stellar line up of speakers.

In addition to the scientific sessions, the programme will feature numerous opportunities for early career investigators, poster presentations, and ample networking opportunities. This will be a fantastic chance to reconnect with colleagues and forge new collaborations, all in the vibrant and historic city of Birmingham.

We look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham for this exciting meeting!

See you in June 2026!
